Becraft Scholars Program is proud to welcome its fifth cohort of students this fall. This innovative, equity-driven scholarship program provides a pathway of access to Catholic education while fostering a culture of belonging with a focus on Black and African American families.
To support the growth of the program, Fulcrum is excited to welcome Joshua (Josh) Jinkens as a contractor to assist with Becraft events, social media engagement, and operations. Josh is a product of our own Catholic schools and is a proud alumnus of St. Therese Catholic Academy and Seattle Preparatory School. During his time in Catholic school, Josh developed an immense love for writing. In the summer of 2023, Josh graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in English and is currently writing a fictional adventure story. In addition to his love of writing, Josh has a passion for furry four-legged companions and recently created a dog-walking service to assist those in his community and beyond.
“I am thrilled to support the work of the Becraft Scholars program, but most importantly, I am excited to get to know the families involved and contribute to the success of the strong community!” – Josh Jinkens
