Bio
Vivian Shannon joined the Fulcrum Foundation in October 2019. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Vivian served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer for the YMCA of Greater Seattle, where she successfully oversaw a $180M comprehensive campaign. Vivian also previously managed a $350M comprehensive campaign (which raised $421M) at the United States Military Academy at West Point as the Campaign Director, while working for the West Point Association of Graduates. Vivian has nearly 25 years’ experience building relationships, growing and developing teams, and creating strategies for success.
Vivian lives in Bonney Lake with her husband Joseph, and is the proud mom of four adult children (two boys and two girls); one of her daughters is a cadet at West Point. When not working, Vivian enjoys Broadway shows, travel, reading, and spending time with her family. She is a proud alum of the University of Washington, and is also a huge Seahawks fan–Go Hawks!

Alana joined the Fulcrum team in January 2021. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Alana was the director of equity and inclusion at Seattle Academy, where her focus was building community and creating equitable systems. A Seattle native, Alana has strong ties to the private school community, having been a student, educator, parent, and board member at multiple institutions. Alana’s desire to serve her community has led to opportunities to work with organizations such as the Seattle CARES Mentoring Movement and Partners for Youth Empowerment. In her free time, Alana loves to travel, cook, and continue learning.

Susan joined the Fulcrum Foundation in November 2011. Prior to joining Fulcrum, she worked at Hopelink, an Eastside non-profit. She is proud to be a part of the Fulcrum team and her passion for Catholic schools is evident in her daily interactions with families and schools. Born and raised in Seattle, Susan attended St. John School, Bishop Blanchet High School, and Seattle University, graduating in 2003 with a BA in Business Administration. Susan and her family are members of St. John Parish and School in Seattle.

Amy joined Fulcrum in June, 2023. Born and raised in Seattle, Amy is a product of local Catholic schools. She attended St. Alphonsus for elementary and middle school and Bishop Blanchet for high school. She holds a bachelor’s in environmental science from Western Washington University and a master’s in information science from the University of Washington.
Amy has spent most of her professional life in development positions. She was the development director of the Girl Scouts of Western Washington and a development consultant to nonprofit organizations before focusing her career on schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle. She was the director of advancement at Bishop Blanchet High School and the director of advancement, marketing, and communication at Kennedy Catholic High School. Amy most recently worked as the director of advancement at Christ the King, which included work in admissions.
Amy and her husband are the proud of two children. She and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, including training for and running marathons!

Bio
Loren joined Fulcrum in the summer of 2020. He has previously served in marketing and communications leadership roles at both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including Microsoft, Russell Investments, Foss Maritime, and World Vision. Early in his career, he worked as a journalist. Loren is also a veteran of the United States Navy. Originally from Tacoma, Loren and his wife now live on the Eastside.

Savannah joined the Fulcrum Foundation in March 2020. With a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from San Diego State University, Savannah has been a Hilton Event Manager in San Diego, Manhattan, Edinburgh, Scotland, and Seattle. Grateful for involvement with Christ-centered organizations in college as well as in her childhood and teen years, Savannah recognizes the importance of extending such opportunities to other young people. Eager to get involved in the non-profit sector and contribute to the community, she is excited to give back and support the mission for Catholic education.

Julie Francavilla joined the Fulcrum team in 2019. Julie is a longtime friend of the Fulcrum Foundation and past Champion of Education Honoree. Most recently, Julie held the role of Development Director at St. Joseph School of Issaquah/Snoqualmie and is actively involved in serving the Lakota through Sappa Un Academy, at St. Francis Mission on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. Julie is a parishioner at Sacred Heart, Bellevue where her children attended school. Julie is a familiar face in Seattle and has a deep background in communications and journalism, waking Seattle area viewers up as a favorite Seattle News anchor for KING5 and KIRO7 for more than two decades.

Stephanie joined the Fulcrum team in August, 2014. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Stephanie had an extensive marketing career in the for-profit world. As a volunteer leader, she has excelled in fundraising for Assumption-St. Bridget School, Holy Names Academy and her Seattle Children’s Hospital guild. Stephanie holds a BA in Marketing from Western Washington University. A member of St. Bridget parish, she is excited to work with the Fulcrum team and support the mission for Catholic education.

Cathy joined the Fulcrum Foundation in June 2011. A Seattle native, she attended St. Bernadette school, Kennedy Catholic High School and Seattle University. After working briefly as an ultrasound technologist, she spent the next 20 plus years at home raising her three children and volunteering in creative capacities at their Catholic schools, then returned to school for graphic design. In addition to design work, Cathy loves to cook, practice Spanish, and cares for an adult daughter with special needs. She and her family are parishioners at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Connor joined the Fulcrum Foundation in July 2019. Before coming to the Fulcrum Foundation, Connor was Development and Program Coordinator at Early Life Speech & Language. A Pacific Northwest native, Connor attended Immaculate Conception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School, Archbishop Murphy High School and Gonzaga University. He graduated from Gonzaga in 2017 with a BS in Philosophy. Connor is a volunteer with MercyWatch, a street medicine and homeless outreach ministry in Snohomish County. In his spare time he enjoys ultimate frisbee, hiking, and movies. Connor is a member of St. Patrick’s Parish.

Christina joined the Fulcrum Foundation in July 2020. Before taking on the role of Communications Manager, Christina worked as a freelance writer for Fulcrum and other organizations. While growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Christina attended St. Louise Parish School and Seattle Preparatory School, before earning her BA at the University of Notre Dame. In her free time, Christina loves reading, writing, and enjoying the outdoors.
