Irene and Tim Attleson felt St. Francis School was a natural choice for their son, August.
“We chose St. Francis because we have been parishioners since 2016, the year August was born,” Irene said. “August attended his first Mass at St. Francis at five days old. Our plan had always been to send August to St. Francis School since he had become familiar with the community through church.”
“Our favorite part of our community is the diversity and the integration of our Catholic faith in August’s daily learning,” said Irene. “We want him to grow as a whole person and learning, faith, kindness, and community are equally important to his education and future success.”
The Attlesons received a Fulcrum Foundation tuition assistance grant for the upcoming school year as August heads into first grade.
“We applied for the Fulcrum grant due to life-changing events in our family. This grant allows us to continue to provide August with his education with a little more ease,” said Irene. “We feel fortunate to receive a grant from the Fulcrum Foundation. Easing financial stress and being able to provide not only an academic, but social and cultural education for our son and others will ensure their future success. We feel that this grant allows us to focus more on August’s education and gives the opportunity to be more involved in his education.”
“We look forward to watching our son grow in community, faith, and academic success,” Irene added. “We know children that are held to higher academic standards become more confident, have higher self-esteem, and better academic futures.”
