McKamey Retirement

For over forty years, Frances McKamey taught concurrently at Kennedy Catholic High School and several local Catholic elementary schools. She has had a profound impact on tens of thousands of young people and their families.

In 2020, Ms. McKamey was featured in a Fulcrum video, which highlighted her humble heart and contagious spirit.

As she prepares for a well-deserved retirement, Fulcrum recently honored her as the first recipient of the St. John Baptist de La Salle Lifetime Achievement Award. Named after the patron saint of teachers, this award celebrates individuals who, like St. John, have devoted their lives to the education and formation of young people.

This recognition underscores the immeasurable impact Frances has had on the Catholic school community in South King County and beyond. Her legacy continues to inspire students and colleagues alike, reflecting the values and mission upheld by the Fulcrum Foundation.

Congratulations, Ms. McKamey — may God bless you abundantly!
