The Seattle chapter of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) joined the Fulcrum board of trustees for Fulcrum’s first-ever Board of Trustees Happy Hour Networking Event, and it was a rousing success! The event, which took place on September 20 at the Washington Athletic Club (WAC), helped build fellowship and community between YCP, Fulcrum, and Amici, Fulcrum’s own young professionals’ program.
Amici and YCP members were able to meet with Board Chair Tony Audino, the heads of Fulcrum’s board committees, Fulcrum staff, including Executive Director Vivian Shannon, and key members of the chancery and Archdiocese of Seattle staff.
“We are so thrilled by the success of this event,” said Vivian. “We all had such a wonderful time getting to know these young Catholic professionals who are looking to live their faith and build community here in Seattle. Thank you to everyone who came! This type of community is exactly what being Catholic is all about!”
Attendees enjoyed building connections while sharing food, drink, and spectacular views on the 21st floor of the WAC. The evening went so well that no one wanted to leave! The YCP and Amici attendees expressed their gratitude over the event and the warm welcome they received.
Fulcrum will continue to hold community-building events for young Catholic professionals in the Seattle area, starting with an Amici Pub Night. This fun event is an opportunity for people to build relationships, learn more about Amici, and to get to know Fulcrum Board Member and Amici Chair Stephanie Frey.
