School Partnership Grants Awarded

March 28, 2018

The Fulcrum School Partnership Grant Program continues to work strategically with our schools who are facing immediate financial challenges. This program is designed to provide financial support and professional expertise to Catholic schools and fund one-time expenses related to increased academic excellence ranging in areas from preschool to high school. Following are a few examples of grants provided for schools:

– St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School in Everett received a Building Diversity and Inclusion Grant to send five teachers through the University of Notre Dame’s English as a New Language Program this past summer.

-St. Bernadette Parish School in Burien received a School Partnership Grant to replace interior lighting with hardwired ceiling LED lights. This project will result in a savings of almost $4,000 annually on their electric bill and they will receive over $11,000 rebate from Seattle City Light to put toward their budget.

-St. Rose School in Longview received a School Partnership Grant to add bathrooms to their preschool classrooms to be in compliance with state standards. Thus, feeding their pipeline to kindergarten enrollment.

These grants are awarded and made possible because of generous people like you. Thank you.
