In December, Fulcrum awarded 42 grants to schools across Western Washington through its School Partnership Grant Program. These grants will help schools meet critical needs for students, educators, and staff that benefit the entire school community. This recent round of grants totaled over $1.28 million in enhancements to facilities, safety and security, curriculum, technology and programs in our elementary and high schools. The generosity of dedicated Fulcrum donors made these grants possible.
Fulcrum’s Distribution Committee is chaired by trustee Phil VanDerhoef who shares “It is a powerful experience to read applications for Fulcrum School Partnership Grants from school leaders. Their passion for Catholic schools and the depth of their commitment to their students and families is so obvious. It is inspiring for me, and I know their commitment inspires the whole Fulcrum team.” The Distribution Committee proudly awarded a grant to every school who applied last fall.
The recent grants spanned a broad range of needs. From converting storage rooms into enhanced learning spaces, to the purchase of equipment for vision and hearing screenings and the adoption of curriculum, every Fulcrum donor should feel pride in the impact they are having in our local schools.
