We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Phil VanDerhoef and Regan Hurley for their years of dedicated service and impactful contributions to the Fulcrum Board of Trustees. Although their board terms will end soon, they will continue to serve on Fulcrum committees and remain closely connected.
Phil joined the board in 2013 after five years of service on the Fulcrum Board of Advisors, beginning in 2008. Most recently, he has chaired the Fulcrum Programs and Impact Committee and contributed to numerous other committees and task forces throughout his tenure.
Regan also joined the board in 2013 and served as the secretary for nearly a decade. She co-chaired the Fulcrum Strategic Planning Task Force, which led to the development of the organization’s first formal strategic plan — a milestone achievement in Fulcrum’s growth.
Thank you, Phil and Regan! Your leadership and dedication have left a lasting legacy that will benefit our Catholic schools for years to come.
We are pleased to welcome our newest board members:
• Father Cal Christiansen, pastor of All Saints in Puyallup, St. Martin of Tours in Fife, and Sacred Heart in Tacoma
• Dr. Shane Martin, Provost of Seattle University
• Dr. Robert Rusk, President of Seton Catholic College Preparatory High School in Vancouver
We are excited to have these esteemed leaders join the Fulcrum community and look forward to the insight, experience, and passion they bring to our shared mission of supporting Catholic education.
