Dear Friends of Fulcrum,
Merry Christmas! As we enter this holiday season, I am reminded just how grateful I am for all of you. This past year, as I’ve visited schools and gotten to know their staffs, students, and families, I have seen time and again the life-changing impact that Fulcrum support has on these communities.
I am humbled and honored to be a part of this work, but you are the true difference makers. I cannot thank you often or deeply enough for all you have done for our local Catholic schools and students.
I am so looking forward to the Celebration of Light on January 19, where I will get to see so many of your smiling faces and have the chance to thank you personally for believing in Fulcrum’s mission.
I am especially proud that we will be celebrating the continuing success of the Becraft Scholars Program at the Celebration of Light. Becraft Scholars is an innovative scholarship program that supports the students and families furthest from educational justice. Created in partnership with the Ferry Family Charitable Foundation, Becraft Scholars has had a profound impact on the schools and families in the program and I can’t wait to share some of their stories with you!
More than 20 years ago, Fulcrum began with a simple dream: to make Catholic education more accessible and affordable for all families. That dream is not only alive today, but thriving—all thanks to your generous spirits and kind hearts.
On behalf of all those you have helped, I say thank you. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in the new year and beyond.
With A Grateful Heart,
Vivian K. Shannon
