General Information Questions
What is the Celebration of Light?
The Celebration of Light is the Fulcrum Foundation’s premier annual fundraising event. It is an opportunity to come together to support Fulcrum’s programs and share our mission of championing Catholic education across Western Washington. Due to COVID-19, Fulcrum will host this year’s event outdoors at T-Mobile Park.
What does the Celebration of Light raise money for?
The Celebration of Light raises money to support Fulcrum’s critical programs. Fulcrum is a nonprofit organization that increases access to Catholic education and supports students, educators, and schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Since its founding in 2002, Fulcrum has disbursed over $65 million in grants!
Money raised at the Celebration of Light funds Fulcrum’s three main pillars of giving: tuition assistance grants for students, leadership development grants for educators, and partnership grants for schools.
Where is the Celebration of Light this year?

Is the Celebration of Light virtual this year?
This year’s gala will be held in person! Fulcrum will follow all COVID-19 guidelines in place at T-Mobile Park as mandated by the state.
What will the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Light look like?
The 20th Anniversary Celebration of Light will look and feel very similar to our traditional gala at the Sheraton Grand Seattle. Cocktail attire is encouraged and dinner will be on the field. The gala’s program will include videos highlighting Fulcrum’s work in the Archdiocese of Seattle.

Celebration of Light COVID-19 Questions
What precautions should I take regarding COVID-19?
Masks are not required, but guests are welcome to wear them. We strongly encourage guests to have current vaccinations, and if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 we recommend you get tested prior to the event. These guidelines are subject to change based on current assessments by the government and by T-Mobile Park.

What should I wear to the Celebration of Light 2022?
Cocktail attire is encouraged for the gala, but not required. We recommend bringing a coat and comfortable shoes as the event will be held outdoors on the field.

What time should I get to T-Mobile Park?
Doors open and registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Please be mindful of traffic as the event takes place on a Friday night.
How much is parking and where do I park for the event?
Parking is complimentary in the T-Mobile parking garage. The parking garage is located on Edgar Martinez Dr. South, across the street from Home Plate Gate.
How do I get to T-Mobile Park from the parking garage?
Home Plate Gate is located across the street from the T-Mobile Parking garage on Edgar Martinez Dr. South.
I need an elevator/accessible access. Where do I go?
Please enter through Home Plate Gate with all guests. Once you are through security, greeters will be able to assist in getting you to the elevators. Please take the elevator to the Main Concourse where you will find registration.
Will I need to go through security?
Yes, all guests will go through security screening at Home Plate Gate. This includes metal detectors, a bag check, and any mandated COVID-19 protocols.
Where do I go inside the stadium for registration?
Registration will be located past security at Home Plate Gate in the Main Concourse. Greeters will direct guests to registration after arrival.
What time is registration?
Registration takes place from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Where does the cocktail reception take place?
The cocktail reception will be located on the main concourse just past the event registration.
How long does the cocktail reception last?
The cocktail reception will take place from 5:30-6:45 p.m.
Where do I go inside the stadium for dinner?
The dinner and program will take place on the field. Please follow signs down the stairs or to the elevators to access the field directly from the cocktail reception.
How do I find my table?
Tables will be marked by number. Your table number will be given to you at registration, along with a table map.
What time do I need to be at my table for dinner?
The dinner and program start promptly at 7 p.m. The cocktail reception bars will close at 6:45 p.m. to give guests time to make their way to the field and to locate their table.
Where are the restrooms located during the event?
Restrooms are located on the main concourse / 100 level. There will also be a limited number of portable restrooms available on the field.
What if the weather is rainy and/or chilly?
If it is raining, the roof of the ballpark will be closed. We will have heaters near each table to keep attendees comfortable.
Is there an after-party at the gala?
No, there is not an after-party this year.
What time does the event end?
The program will end around 9 p.m. Guests are free to depart at the conclusion of the program.
Celebration of Light Donation Questions
How do I donate to the Celebration of Light?
Donations are welcome anytime at FulcrumFoundation.org. Donations are also accepted by pledge form, either returning by mail or at Celebration of Light during the event.
I want to donate by check. Is that possible?
Yes! You are welcome to donate by check. Please include a check with your pledge form at the Celebration of Light or you can mail a check directly to our office. Please include “Celebration of Light” in the notes section and mail to the following address:

The Fulcrum Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Please check with your tax advisors to confirm.

The Faculty and Staff Lounge is an exclusive event for all 2022 Archbishop Award recipients—Catholic school administrators, teachers, and staff. This event takes place at Celebration of Light on May 20, 2022.
What should I wear to the Faculty & Staff Lounge event?

May I bring a guest to the Faculty & Staff Lounge event?
Only current Catholic school teachers, staff, and administrators may register. In order to include as many faculty and staff members as we can, we are unable to offer any registration spots to guests of attendees, including spouses and significant others. Thank you for understanding.

Current faculty and staff should register for the Faculty & Staff Lounge here. This event is meant to honor all recipients of the 2022 Archbishop’s Award— including you! Attendance at the Faculty & Staff Lounge is free and comes with complimentary food and drink.

Yes! Outdoor seating to view the Celebration of Light gala will be open on the club level.
