Vivian Shannon, Fulcrum’s new executive director, came ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work.
“I come with a very grateful heart,” Vivian said. “I am honored and humbled to have joined the team.”
Vivian came to Fulcrum with successful management, team building, and fundraising experience. Before Fulcrum, Vivian served as the senior vice president and chief advancement officer for the YMCA of Greater Seattle for three years, and as campaign director at the United States Military Academy at West Point for ten years.
“Vivian brings over 20 years of leadership and fundraising experience to the Fulcrum Foundation,” said Tony Audino, board chair. “She has the incredible ability to do ‘big picture’ strategic thinking and execute with small teams in a very collaborative approach, making her a perfect fit for Fulcrum. We’re extremely excited to have her join our team.”
“My faith is so important to me and I believe God brought Fulcrum and me together for a reason,” Vivian explained. “To be working for an organization that provides access to high-quality, faith-based education to those that need it the most is something that really resonates with me.”
“I plan to be very physically present in our community—with our principals, donors, and our board. I’m rolling up my sleeves and getting in the trenches!” Vivian said. “I ask that people have a curious heart and help spread the word about Fulcrum.”
