The Fulcrum Foundation’s highly anticipated fundraising event is happening January 24th at the Sheraton Grand Seattle.
This year, the fundraiser will kick off Catholic Schools Week, highlighting the life-changing gift of Catholic education.
“It truly is a celebration,” said Conne Bruce, Advancement Director. “You always walk away empowered and excited about what’s happening in Catholic education.”
And it’s more than just a fundraiser, it’s a community builder. All 73 schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle are represented in the room. From Bellingham to Vancouver, guests travel from all over to support Catholic schools.
This year, Mike and Mary Lee will be recognized with the Archbishop’s Award for their leadership and service to Fulcrum. Mike is a current board member, while Mary was a founding board member. Together, they chaired Fulcrum’s last capital campaign, Embracing Our Legacy, with amazing success.
“The campaign was successful and Fulcrum is thriving because of Mike and Mary Lee’s significant leadership,” Conne explained.
Mike and Mary are one extraordinary example of the loving, supportive community surrounding Fulcrum. Nothing proved this more than last year when the Celebration of Light was canceled due to unprecedented snow.
Even with no event to attend, the Catholic community, united in their shared love of Catholic education, still donated enough money to support Fulcrum’s programs for the coming year—a true miracle.
This year Fulcrum looks forward to clear skies and even more generous hearts. Join this community as they celebrate Fulcrum’s impact and raise funds to keep the mission moving forward: supporting tuition assistance, uplifting the most fragile schools, and growing leadership capacity. There is so much more to do together for Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle.
